SABVS Rules & Regulations 2024-2025 

Key changes to previous season

• Elite8 Rounds will be played on Saturdays.
• Mandatory minimum VA Level1 Referee Acrreditation for all 3Star and 2Star Players. (Implementation latest in Round4)
• Recommendet VA Level2 Referee Accreditation for all 3Star Players.
• Mawson Lakes will be used as an overflow venue in case of Glenelg being at capacity.
• ALL 3star players must wear matching official SABVS uniforms (available only at Valour online shop Volleyball SA Beach Program – Valour Sport).  All Other Grades have to wear any matching uniforms. 
• Shorts / bottoms have to be of same colour for ALL grades. Styles can be different, example : Player A - Bikini bottom, Player B - shorts.
• ALL Futures grades reccommended to wear any matching uniform (matching bottom/shorts is recommended)
• Special Entries into Elite8 3Star grades will not be granted. Up to 2 Special Entries will be granted into Challenger 3Star grades.
• Any non-compliance with sign-in and/or Technical Meeting attendance will incur a fine
• SABVS Senior Championships 4Star Grade eligibility criteria: minimum participaton in 4 SABVS rounds (can include SA Open). All other grade do not have eligibility criteria.
• The Rising Star Player Award will be given to the most improved Player based on the highest jump in the SABVS ranking (max. best 10 results) 
• All 3Star and 2Star Players must be qualified Referees in accordance with VA and VSA requirements: Minimum VA Level1.  Click HERE for Refereeing courses
• Entry Fees: SABVS Rounds $75, SABVS Futures u15 Threes $55
