SABVS Calendars - 2025/26

ELITE And CHALLENGER EVENTS
 

All events will be held at Glenelg Beach (north of the Jetty) unless stated otherwise. Due to limited court availability, some grades may be held at SASI Kidman Park, Mawson Lakes, or alternative venues.

Event Schedule

• Elite6 3-Star and Challenger 2/1/0-Star matches will take place on Saturdays as per the schedule below.
• Challenger 3/2/1/0-Star matches will be played on Sundays as scheduled.

Uniform Requirements

All teams are required to wear matching uniforms in all grades, including shorts/bikinis/bottoms of the same colour. Official VSA-SABVS tops and singlets are mandatory for 3-Star grades only (can be different colour) and can be purchased via the Valour online shop. Please allow for shipping time by ordering no later than the Wednesday before an event.

Referee Requirements

The Top Referee of each match (one per team) must have a minimum VA Level 1 Referee accreditation!

Wild Card Application

8.3.4       Teams may apply for a Wildcard to enter any grades. This must be done in writing to the Series Director at tom.k@volleyballsa.com.au no later than the respective event nomination closure, and accompanied by the actual completed online nomination.

Futures EVENTS

Event Information:

All events will be held at Glenelg Beach (north of the jetty), unless stated otherwise. Due to court availability, some divisions may be played at Kidman Park or Mawson Lakes.

Futures Threes age 15 and under and U14 Fours:

These events will take place on either Saturday or Sunday, as indicated below. Please note that there are no uniform requirements.

Nominations:

• If there are more nominations than available spots, the earlier nomination will determine which team can enter the competition.
• Round information will be sent via email.

Exemptions:

If you are already 16 years old but not yet confident enough to play in pairs, please get in touch to apply for a potential exemption to compete in the 15s Threes grades.

Competition Times:

All rounds will have two optional competition times, with no differences in level or age at the moment. Please indicate your preferred time slot:

• A: 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM
• B: 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
