PERFORMANCE Pathway
DEVELOP SKILLS. BUILD CONFIDENCE. HERE TO PLAY.
2025–26 VOLLEYBALL SA PERFORMANCE PATHWAY
The Volleyball South Australia (VSA) Performance Pathway is delivered in partnership with the South Australian Sports Institute (SASI) and Volleyball Australia (VA). It’s designed to identify, nurture, and develop talented athletes, supporting them as they strive for state, national, and even Olympic success.
This integrated program builds fundamental movement skills and advanced volleyball techniques across indoor and beach disciplines. The Pathway complements school, club, and state squad commitments – athletes are encouraged to participate in these alongside their VSA training for a holistic, well-rounded experience.
Over a 12-month cycle, athletes access:
- Elite coaching and strength & conditioning programs (S&C for Tier 2 only)
- Individualised athlete case management
- A values-driven approach that develops both the player and the person
