VSA partners with Wakefield Sports + Exercise Medicine Clinic

Performance Our PeopleVolleyball South Australia (VSA) is pleased to announce a new one-year partnership with Wakefield Sports + Exercise Medicine Clinic, strengthening the support available to South Australian volleyball athletes across the VSA performance pathway.
The partnership will see Wakefield support VSA athletes and programs throughout the year, with a presence at key events including the Australian Junior Volleyball Championships (AJVC), Australian Youth Volleyball Championships (AYVC), Australian Volleyball Super League (AVSL), Australian Youth Beach Volleyball Championships (AYBVC) and the Pelligra SA Open.
Wakefield Sports + Exercise Medicine Clinic has three locations across Adelaide at Calvary, North Adelaide and Dulwich, and brings extensive experience across sports medicine and athlete care.
Its multidisciplinary team includes sports doctors, sports physiotherapists, orthopaedic surgeons, dietitians, psychologists, podiatrists, massage therapists and exercise physiologists, providing athletes with access to a wide range of services from injury prevention and performance optimisation through to diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and returning safely to the court.
Wakefield also operates a seven-day-a-week sports injury clinic during the winter months, aligning closely with the volleyball season and providing athletes with access to support throughout the year.
