SAVL Performance Our People Juniors CompetitiveThe 2026 SAVL Divisional and Reserve Grand Finals were held on Saturday, 8 August, at Reynella East College.
With close to 800 tickets sold, more than 1,000 people attended across the day, creating a fantastic atmosphere as teams battled for championship glory.
With games starting from 9am, the venue was alive throughout the day as 10 medal matches took place across the Men’s and Women’s competitions, bringing the season to a fitting conclusion.
Men’s Champions
The Men’s competition delivered plenty of excitement, with several Grand Finals going down to the wire.
Reserve: Norwood Bears def. Austral Phoenix 3-1
Division 1: Adelaide Uni def. Austral Phoenix 3-1
Division 2: Norwood Bears def. Adelaide Uni 3-2
Division 3: South Adelaide def. Adelaide Uni 3-0
Division 4: Norwood Bears def. Adelaide Uni 3-0
Division 5: Adelaide Uni A def. Adelaide Uni B 3-1
Norwood Bears were the standout performers across the Men’s competitions, securing three championships across Reserve, Division 2 and Division 4.
Women’s Champions
The Women’s Grand Finals also produced some thrilling contests, including two five-set battles to close out the season.
Reserve: South Adelaide def. Norwood 3-2
Division 1: Norwood Bears def. Austral Phoenix 3-1
Division 2: Norwood Bears def. South Adelaide 3-1
Division 3: Central Adelaide def. South Adelaide 3-2
South Adelaide and Norwood Bears both enjoyed successful days, with Norwood claiming Division 1 and Division 2, while South Adelaide took home the Reserve championship.
