"Queen Of The Court" - Interview with Gosia Rzepka

6 February 2025

Our People Competitive

The 2024/25 South Australian Beach Volleyball Series (SABVS) is currently being dominated by Malgorzata "Gosia" Rzepka, who has claimed an impressive six wins out of ten rounds this season. After a standout 2023, where she won the Pelligra SA Open, Gosia has continued her winning streak, recently taking out the 2024 Australian Beach Volleyball Tour event in Glenelg alongside Camila Franchi.

“It’s going really well,” Gosia said. “I feel very lucky to compete and hang out with my favourite beach volleyball community.”

One of her season highlights was a comeback victory in a final against Bailee Kendall and Leilani Burnell. “It felt great to mentally reset and play our game,” she said.

With more players getting opportunities to train through programs like Quicksand, she believes the level of competition in the series continues to rise.

“More people are playing, and the quality keeps improving,” she noted.

When asked about her formula for success, her advice was simple:

“Keep training and be consistent!”

Currently holding the most wins in the SABVS, Gosia remains humble but determined.

“How good!” she said about her position at the top. “And thank you, Camila, for pushing through!”

With her sights set on finishing the season strong, Gosia continues to prove why she’s one of the top players in the sport.
