The 2024 Mahindra Australian Volleyball Super League has come to an end!

That's a wrap for 2024!

In today's exciting medal matches, our Pelligra Adelaide Storm Men faced Melbourne Vipers for bronze, and our Women faced Queensland Pirates for gold!

Both Storm teams gave their absolute all, showing their experience, determination and SA spirit. Today, that just wasn't enough, as both teams fell short of the win.

Our men were up first, walking away with a heartbreaking 5-set loss:

Set 1: 15-18

Set 2: 18-13

Set 3: 08-18

Set 4: 20-18

Set 5: 25-27

Taking the game to a nail-biting fifth set shows just how badly our Storm men wanted the win. The team can walk away incredibly proud knowing no stone was left unturned, and every point was played with heart and determination!

Our women played next, and fought until the very end with a 1-3 loss:

Set 1: 16-18

Set 2: 15-18

Set 3: 18-13

Set 4: 11-18

This gold medal match was never going to be easy, but our Storm women were up for the challenge. The team should be proud of how they stuck together and showed their true strength and grit until the very end.

These two matches brought us to the end of the 2024 Mahindra Australian Volleyball Super League season, and what an incredible one it was!
