WHAT A DAY!

In today's exciting semi-final matches, our Pelligra Adelaide Storm Men faced Queensland Pirates, and our Women faced Melbourne Vipers for a spot in tomorrows grand final!

There was no doubt about it, the entire Storm squad had their game faces on! Relentless defence, aggressive attack and true teamsmanship enabled both teams to leave it all out on the court - No stone left unturned!

Our men were up first, walking away with a heartbreaking 5-set loss:

Set 1: 18-15

Set 2: 13-18

Set 3: 18 - 10

Set 4: 14 - 18

Set 5: 15 - 18

Our men didn't go down without a fight - Every point was played with heart and determination, from continuous scramble defence to relentless attack!

This result leads our men to the bronze medal match tomorrow, played at 11.30am (approx.) against Melbourne Vipers.

Our women played next, and fought incredibly well for a convincing 3-0 win,

Set 1: 18 - 14

Set 2: 18 - 11

Set 3: 20 - 18

Our women showed their true strengths during this match - No point was going to be won easily. The team stayed united and focused on the goal, one point at a time!

Up next for our women, the gold medal match! This match will follow the men's bronze tomorrow at 1.30pm (approx.) against Queensland Pirates.
