Volleyball South Australia are thrilled to announce the change in formal title of General Manager Karla Della Pietra to CEO.

Karla began her journey with Volleyball SA through various early roles, including Marketing and Events Manager. Moving on to gain outstanding, invaluable experience across the wider South Australian sporting industry - taking on various roles at Netball SA/ Adelaide Thunderbirds, Netball Australia and the South Australian Cricket Association.

Karla re-joined Volleyball SA 12 months ago in November 2021 as our General Manager. 

President of Volleyball South Australia, Scott Mansell, said throughout the past 12 months Karla has led a transformational change agenda, not only raising the profile of Volleyball SA as a sporting organisation within our State and nationally but delivering significant milestone achievements within our organisation and wider volleyball community.

"Notable achievements in a 12-month period include undertaking a successful business relocation, completing a rebrand with an inclusive approach and with the amazing input of our volleyball community partners, and the outstanding delivery of Australia’s first recognised home and away indoor season with SAVL throughout 2022. These achievements have come to life through a collaborative approach with all stakeholders. At the same time, Karla has delivered essential commercial partnerships that underpin the success of volleyball within our State."
