Pelligra Adelaide Storm Squad Announcement

Volleyball South Australia are excited to announce the 2022 Pelligra Adelaide Storm Squad representing South Australia at the upcoming Australian Volleyball League.

The Adelaide Storm travel in a home and away format from October to December 2022, with three away matches and three home matches.

WOMEN'S COACH - ALEXIS LEBEDEW

"It is an exciting year to be coaching the Adelaide Storm women's volleyball team. For the first time since 2019 we will be competing against the best the rest of the country has to offer. At this point we know very little about the strength of our opponents, but we do know we have a very strong team, selected after an extremely competitive selection process. The focus of training now is to build a strong team culture and link it with South Australia's rich history of national success.

We are very happy with the partnership with Pelligra which eases the financial burden for our players and enables them to focus on representing South Australia."

MEN's COACH - DEREK SLATER

"After a competitive trial period, I am excited with the depth that the team provides as we head into the upcoming season. There is a good balance of youth and experience with a strong camaraderie already present amongst the group. The opportunity to be involved in this competition again is something the group is very much looking forward to. "
