
Emerging Talent Pathway Launches in Reynella

Performance JuniorsThe South Australian High Performance Pathway is a partnership between Volleyball Australia (VA), South Australian Sports Institute (SASI) and Volleyball South Australia (VSA). The Pathway is designed to provide high performance training environment for athletes that have been identified as having the potential to play either Beach or Indoor Volleyball. All athletes will be encouraged to participate in school, club and state squad activities alongside their high performance training.
Entry into the Development and Performance Squads is through the Emerging Talent Hubs, which comprise of yearly trials and selections. Athletes will be identified through the Emerging Talent Hubs by SASI, VA and VSA qualified coaches to advance through the pathway. The Emerging Talent Hubs develop fundamental movement skills and volleyball-specific techniques. The Volleyball South Australia Emerging Talent program trains athletes of ages 10 – 17 years of age.
Our first Emerging Talent Hub will be placed at Reynella East College on Wednesday's! Trials will be held in August, term 3.
