Volleyball South Australia

Volleyball SA is the peak administrative body for volleyball in South Australia. We manage State indoor and beach leagues, State teams, as well as recreational and junior competitions. Sporting Schools funding for Term 4 - NOW OPEN!

Sporting Schools funding for Term 4 is now open! If your school hasn't registered with Sporting Schools you are missing out. Simply register via the Sporting Schools website and submit your Term 4 grant application (obviously choose Volleyball). Qualified Volleyball SA coaches will then come to your schools and deliver a fantastic program before, during or after school! This is the perfect preparation for the Schools beach Festival or a great opportunity to try a new Sport!

2017 VSA Academy Trials

The VSA Volleyball Academy Program will conduct trials in October for a one year placement. If you are interested in developing into an elite volleyball player then you should apply! Applications are OPEN now for the following programs:

TIER 2: Elite Training for players born in 1999 & 2000 (Applications close 17 October)

TIER 2 Trials: (Venue: SASi Gym - 27 Valetta Road, Kidman Park)

Monday 17th October: Males 5.30pm - 7.30pm / Females 7.30pm-9.30pm

Tuesday 18th October: Females & Males 7.30pm - 9.00pm (Physical Testing)

Wednesday 19th October: Females 5.30pm - 7.30pm / Males 7.30pm - 9.30pm

TIER 3: Elite Training for players born 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 (Applications close 21 October)

Referee recreational volleyball this summer!

Volleyball SA Recreational are looking for referees and event staff to join our roster for the summer season that kicks off at the end of the month. This is a great time to get involved in beach volleyball and enjoy the beautiful evenings through summer! Games run Monday through to Thursday and events are Friday to Sunday.

AJVC Final Wrap Up

The teams performed amazingly well and were a credit to SA both in performance and in behaviour/ attitude. We thank all coaches, support staff and the many parents cheering in person and at home. VSA took 9 teams to Qld and came home with 9 medals which may well be a record for SA. So proud of them all. Congratulations to all teams and individual award winners and also congratulations to the many clubs and schools who have been part of these amazing athletes development in the sport we love.
