Victoria University in collaboration with Diversity Council Australia are currently conducting a research project on women from culturally diverse backgrounds in sport leadership roles.
The project aims to increase the representation of women from culturally diverse backgrounds in leadership roles in sport, and are seeking responses from all culturally diverse women whether they have an interest in sport or not.
There is a large underrepresentation of women from culturally and linguistically diverse (CaLD) backgrounds who are leaders throughout many sectors, including sport. To help create diverse and inclusive workplaces in sport, we need to understand what prevents or encourages women to be a leader. Your input will be combined with hundreds of other women’s and findings will be transferred into strategies to assist sport organisations. The following survey focuses on women who:
• Want to become sport leaders
• Are current sport leaders
• Are not interested to become leaders in sport
