Storm Minor Rounds wrap-up and Women head to Finals

In a hotly contested season, where it came down to the final round to determine top 4 positions in both Mens and Womens  divisions,  this year's AVL Volleyball Super League has delivered plenty of excitement. The Adelaide Storm travelled to Sydney to play the UTSSU Shield last weekend and unfortunately the Men's teams results were not quite enough to get them over the line. Whilst the Adelaide Storm Men regroup and review season  in preparation for 2020, the Storm women used the weekend to not only clinch a finals spot but finish the minor round in 3rd place!

Adelaide Storm Women now spend the next few weeks honing their game and head to Qld tthe weekend of AVSC to play the Semi Final against the second placed Melbourne Vipers which will determine which colour medal they play for on the Sunday and whether they play against the hotly favoured Queensland Pirates or Canberra Heat. Those fans who attended home round 1 at Mt Lofty some weeks back will remember that the Adelaide Storm's game is strong enough to beat Queensland with the two teams splitting the wins in Adelaide so the Storm women have everything to play for. If you are over in Gold Coast for AVSC, consider getting along to the venue to support your SA team on Saturday night
