Level 1 Coaching Course

A coach is accredited as a Volleyball Australia Level 1 Coach when they successfully complete the following requirements:

• The candidate must be at least 14 years old to be eligible for this accreditation.
• Be a registered VSA member.
• Complete the Play by the Rules modules:
  • Harassment and Discrimination
  • Child Protection – 18+ years old only
• Agree and sign the VA Coaches’ Code of Behaviour.
• If over 18, complete a Working with Children Check.
• Complete the Volleyball Australia Level 1 Coaching Course.

This accreditation is valid for a period of 2 years as long as the individual remains a VSA member.

IMPORTANT:

All Volleyball Australia Online Education Courses hosted on the current Fortix Online Platform will be discontinued from Tuesday, 7^th December 2021.

Please note if you have registered for one of these courses prior to Tuesday, 7^th December 2021, you must complete the course by Tuesday, 14^th December 2021 to gain your accreditation.

Volleyball Australia will be launching a new Online Accreditation Management System on Tuesday, 7^th December 2021. All coaches and referees in the current Volleyball Australia Accreditation system will receive an email detailing the transition of their accreditation onto the new system.

All new VA online courses will be available on the new system by Monday, 17^th January 2022.
