State League Player Transfer Application

With effect from the 2015 State League Season, any State League player (Junior or Senior) who is requesting for a change in playing clubs shall be required to submit an online player transfer request application through the VSA website.

State League Player Transfer Conditions:-

1) Only online player transfer applications will be accepted.

2) Players are only allowed one transfer each year (1st Apr to 31 Mar of the following year).

3) All player transfers must be completed prior to the commencement of the fourth round of the State League Competition season in order for the player to be eligible to compete for the athlete's newly transferred State League Club.

4) Transfers will not be deemed complete and therefore unable to play for the new club until confirmed in writing by Volleyball SA.

5) A transfer application has to be registered for any player who has at any time been registered with any other Volleyball club in Australia.

6) Interstate Transfers will require a Volleyball Australia Certifcate of Clearance. However, Volleyball Australia 's clearance is not required if both states are aware of the transfer and sign off on the athlete's financial standing. All interstate transfer's are required to complete the application below (payment is not required). Volleyball SA will then notify the player and the respective State Association in writing.

7) Returning interstate players remain linked to their previous South Australian Club. If they wish to play for another local Club then a transfer application is required.

All athlete transfers in accordance with this paragraph 11, where the athlete has played in the current season, must be completed prior to the commencement of the fourth round of the applicable State League Competition season in order for the athlete to be eligible to compete for the athlete’s newly transferred State League Club.
