1) Aussie's Results at the Commonwealth Games

History has been made and we are so proud of our Australian Beach Volleyballers.

The 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games welcomed the first ever Beach Volleyball competition in the history of the Commonwealth Games in which Australia had 1 male and 1 female team compete.

The Australian Volleyroo's fought the whole way through and came out with an incredible achievement of GOLD and SILVER.

Congratulations to South Australian Chris McHugh and partner Damien Schumann for winning the first ever Beach Volleyball Gold Medal.

Also a big congratulations to our Silver medalists Taliqua Clancy and Mariafe Artacho del Solar, a solid effort and a great results.

4) Multicultural Volleyball Cup of Nations

The Multicultural Volleyball Cup of Nations is back for a SECOND year in 2018 thanks to the City of Marion and Volleyball South Australia!

On the 13th of May, the MVCON will cater for teams who want to proudly represent their Nation. With a team of 6 on the court at any one time, you may have up to 6 substitutions as well. If you don't have a team to play in, you can register as an individual and we will try our best to find you a team for the day.

Competition will run from 9am - 4:30pm and will include an official welcome from Mayor Kris Hanna and a presentation of the Champion Nation.

Teams also have the opportunity to sell their Nations food/cuisine at the event by hiring a food stall.

So go on, register your team or food stall, get your uniforms ready and we will see you on the court!
