V-News #24

2 March 2018

In this issue:

JT Nutters team mate, George Angelos, has been playing at Adelaide City Beach since 2004!

Our longest playing Adelaide City Beach member is a huge fan of our City venue and hopes that in the near future he can bring his kids along for a hit.

How long has JT Nutters been playing at Adelaide City Beach? I came out one night to fill in for a mate back around 2004/05. Since that time I’m the only original team member and haven't missed a season yet.

What keeps you coming back to continue playing each season?
Simply enjoy playing the game, and these days with kids it can be hard to catch up with friends, so it’s a great way to catch up with a beer and have a bit of fun in the sand week in week out. Oh and there's those medals to collect for the trophy room!!

What do you like best about playing at Adelaide City Beach? I suppose the location is close for me and i get to play in sand in the middle of the city.

Have you heard about the possibility of Adelaide City Beach being closed? I remember hearing a rumour a few years ago about a re- location in the Park lands somewhere.

Would you being looking to continuing playing if Adelaide City Beach closes, where would you hope to play? Yes without a doubt it’s something i look forward to continue (even with my kids one day soon). Especially if it’s in another location close to town such as our park lands.
