The effective management of a club is about making sure that the club and its activities run smoothly. This relies on organised governance, fast and effective administration, and stable finances. The clubs that operate effectively have a greater chance of long term sustainability and growth.
It is important that club management addresses player retention and attraction, club finances, legal and ethical requirements, and member satisfaction.
The following documents have been developed to assist clubs and associations. These documents can serve as templates to build from or simply as examples to show one way to help build your club.

STARCLUB CLUB DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
STARCLUB is a Club Development Program offered by the Office for Recreation and Sport which has been designed for use by sporting clubs. STARCLUB offers some great assessment and development tools to help your club become a STARCLUB!
